A great mushroom to use for its meaty Umami flavor. There are many recipes for this favorite from mushroom jerky, pulled into strips as a mushroom pulled pork, or a perfect stir fry with its hearty texture.
1 oz dried will make approximately 4-8 oz rehydrated.
Place dried mushrooms in a bowl. Add warm water. Wait 20 min. Use rehydrated mushrooms as you would fresh mushrooms.
